Justin has been immersed in the game of golf since the age of 10, developing his skills and passion early at Uplands Golf Club, where he became a junior member at 12 and later began working at 15. He competed at a high level with the University of Victoria Vikes golf team from 2000 to 2005, and in 2007, earned the title of Men’s Club Champion at Uplands. His professional career includes three years as a TaylorMade fitting representative and, since 2011, membership with the PGA of Canada.

With over a decade of teaching experience, he has coached players of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds at Uplands Golf Club, where he is known for his patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging approach. Since 2012, he has also served as Head Coach of the UVic Vikes golf teams, mentoring student-athletes and helping them compete at the highest collegiate level. Off the course, he and his wife co-founded the Clews Charity Golf Tournament, an annual event at Uplands that has raised over $160,000 in support of the Victoria Hospice Society. His lifelong dedication to the game is reflected in everything from his coaching to his community involvement.
